FOR THE LOVE OF DISREPUTABLE MOVIES

Outcast Cinema is dedicated to the promulgation of disreputable Japanese movies. We believe that the established Western canon of recognized cinema masters is not large enough to encompass the vast amount of spectacular film work that Japan has produced throughout its cinematic history. Therefore, our primary objective is to increase the recognition of lesser-known film artists and marginalized genres through theatrical screenings, the production of DVD supplements, and partnerships with U.S. home video companies.
